Fans of “The Walking Dead” are rejoicing today, as it’s recently been revealed that the hit AMC series is planned through season 12.

Now this doesn’t mean that the show will actually go 12 seasons, but it’s a good possibility, there are a lot of stories to be told for our favorite group of zombie apocalypse survivors.
“I happen to love working from source material, specifically because we have a pretty good idea of what season 10 is gonna be,” Producer David Alpert said, when asked about working from Robert Kirkman’s comics. “We know where season 11 and 12… we have benchmarks and milestones for those seasons if we’re lucky enough to get there.”

Given that “The Walking Dead” has massive ratings, it seems the show won’t go anywhere as long as AMC is willing to make it, and that’s perfectly okay with us!
