‘The Walking Dead’ Renewed For Season 7

“Walking Dead” fans rejoice! Your favorite AMC zombie series will be coming back for Season 7. (Like we had any doubt.) The network confirmed this week that they have officially renewed the drama series.

The Hollywood Gossip reports that “The Walking Dead” is the highest rated show on TV among the coveted age demographic 18-34 year olds. The network also confirmed via press released that along with the renewal of “TWD,” the fan favorite after show “Talking Dead” hosted by comedian Chris Hardwicke has also been renewed for another season.

“All joking aside, we are so proud to share these shows with fans who have been so passionate, communicative and engaged. We are grateful for and continually impressed by the talent, effort and excellence on continuous display by Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, Chris Hardwick and the many people with whom we partner to make these unique shows possible.

If Season 7 is as dramatic as “Walking Dead” fans have seen in the past then we’re betting on a Season 8 and a lot more in the future. Fans can’t seem to get enough of Rick Grimes and company and we have to say we’re just as obsessed as everyone else.
