“The White Lotus” Season 3 finale was highly debated online. After Sunday night’s dramatic and intense finale, fans were left stunned when the fates of the Thailand guests were revealed. (Warning: Spoilers below!) However, viewers had plenty of complaints about the season as well, namely the amount of unanswered questions that were left behind.
The Ratliff’s Are A Mess
Some of the biggest questions of the season revolve around the Ratliff family. Does Tim go to jail? Will anyone find out that he tried to kill his entire family? How will the family members fare without their fortune? Can Saxon and Lochlan ever move on from their stomach-turning encounter? In addition, many fans thought that the family should have just stayed in Thailand to evade Timothy’s legal woes back home.
Victoria and Kate’s History
Speaking of the Ratliff family, Victoria (Parker Posey) was revealed to have some history with another White Lotus guest, Kate. It was revealed that they had a friend in common and even spent time together at a shower in the past. However, things were awkward when Kate confronted Victoria. However, the storyline was never spoken about again.
Does Jaclyn Pay For Her Infidelity?
Kate’s bestie, Jaclyn, also left some unanswered questions. Did she own up to her one night stand with Valentine? How will this impact her marriage and her friendship with Laurie and Kate going forward? The women mentioned Jaclyn’s behavior in the past, but never gave any context.
Where Does Belinda Go?
In the end, Belinda got her fortune, thanks to Greg. She left Pornchai in the dust as she and her son, Zion, fled Thailand to start their new lives. The unanswered question is where do they go? Hawaii, or somewhere new? Perhaps they’ll be featured in Season 4 of “The White Lotus.”
Rick’s Backstory Mystery
Sadly, it was Rick and Chelsea that lost their lives in the season 3 finale. This came just after Rick killed the man who was revealed to be his father. Throughout the season, Rick openly spoke about the trauma he had due to his parents’ deaths. However, there were no real details given. Only that he wanted to find the man that killed his father. The irony is that he became the man who killed his father, and we were forced to lose the pure of heart Chelsea in the process.
Of course, fans were all over the place when it came to debating the finale.
“The White Lotus doesn’t offer neat resolutions,” one person wrote.
“They never addressed whose body Zion found in the water and him jumping in and screaming for help. Did I miss something or am I right?” another tweeted.
“I can’t believe that we are over 12 hours removed from the White Lotus S3 finale and more people aren’t complaining about the real question that needed an answer: Is Lochlan going to Duke or UNC?!” another joked.
“The White Lotus” Season 3 is now streaming in full on Max, and fans are already excited to see what Season 4 will bring.
