“The Young and the Restless” fans need to prepare themselves for the upcoming craziness that is about to hit in the upcoming weeks. New bombshell information is being leaked that a shocking tragedy will unfold, rocking the citizens of Genoa City’s worlds.
The Young and the Restless: Buildup to November Sweeps
New information is reportedly being leaked that will have “The Young and the Restless” fans in arms. Thanks to the spies over at SoapDirt, they have obtained this bombshell information that points to tragedy striking one of Genoa City’s own.
Their sources provided them with an interesting behind-the-scenes photo of someone sitting vigil at a hospital bed. Per their source, all signs point to a significant accident that leaves one of the city’s residents clinging for their lives.
No faces are revealed in the leaked photo. So, of course, this makes the details purely speculative at this time based on the recent Y&R spoilers that came out. But some pretty strong opinions are being made that the person in dire straits could be Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). But then again, this is to be determined as more information comes out.
Is Y&R’s Phyllis’ Life on The Line?
“The Young and the Restless” viewers know that there is a lot of shady activity in Genoa City right now. No one can be trusted. According to CDL, spoilers for the week of October 16 reveal that Phyllis is about to make a very risky decision.
First, Phyllis and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) are teaming up against Jabot and the Abbotts. Since she had second thoughts about her involvement with Tucker, there is a chance she is looking to double-cross him and attempt to get back in Jack’s good graces.
She would have to join forces with Jack behind Tucker’s back. This is a risky situation because double-crossing either of these men puts her right in the middle of danger. Tucker dragged Phyllis into his plot to take down Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jabot. But Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) didn’t fall for his scheme.
Billy wants revenge on Tucker, and so does Jack, and they will do whatever it takes to rid Genoa City of him. So, if Jack and Billy are ready to devise a plan to take Tucker out of the game? If so, will it be Phyllis who is caught in the crossfire?
Is Victor in Danger of Losing His Position of Power?
So many storylines are begging to build, gearing up for the November Sweeps. There are so many that “The Young and the Restless” viewers must pay extra close attention.
Not only do we have Tucker McCall with his hand in practically every dirty deal going down in Genoa City. But we also have an exciting story-building with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). His family has been expressing a growing concern for his actions of late. He cleans the house with his businesses and upsets many family members.
During a meeting with Adam, Victor expresses his concern over hoping he is reformed. When Nate shows up at Victor’s office, a strange thing causes some alarm. Victor will call Adam “Nicholas” as he exits the office.
Victor Faking Dementia on The Young and the Restless?
This strikes Adam as bizarre, and he thinks that Victor may be joking. But when he confronts him, Victor acts like he doesn’t know what Adam’s saying. When Nate and Adam discuss Victor’s mishap, they blow it off to stress.
However, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) enters the hallway just in time to hear the two men talking about Victor’s strange blunder. So, she decides to confront her husband. But Victor tells his wife that he intended to call Adam by the wrong name.
Nikki plays along with Victor and wonders what he is up to. But is Victor faking dementia? Or is he covering up the beginning of an impending medical issue? If Victor is faking to carry out some evil plot he has in the works, then it could be a genius move.
If it is not a ruse, and he is showing the onset of dementia, then it could prove to be something his enemies need to take him down once and for all. The next few weeks will get chaotic for Young and the Restless fans.
