Y&R Spoilers Reveals Sinister Plans Unfolding
Fans of “The Young and the Restless” may be in for the shock of their life once Mamie Johnson’s (Veronica Redd) partner in crime is revealed. During the October 5 episode, fans caught a brief glimpse of Mamie on the telephone. She looked quite amused with herself as she told the person on the other end of the conversation that their plan “went off without a hitch.” She also tells the mysterious caller, “No one has a clue, but they’re all curious.”
Many viewers felt that there was something very sinister in Mamie’s voice. We all know her return to Genoa City is stirring up more chaos than expected. Mamie is in cahoots with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden.)
He believes that they are on the same page when it comes to Chancellor & Winters. But Mamie has her own agenda, and Victor is none the wiser. She has a few end-game goals but is not ready to reveal her devious plans.
Right now, she wants everyone, including Victor, to think her only goal is to buy up all the stock to have an excuse to stick around Genoa City and be near her family. This is not deceiving, though. She does want to be with her nephew and niece. She likely has another use for them in the future. Mamie also has a huge score to settle with her longtime enemy, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). For now, she is enjoying watching the chaos unfold slowly.
Who Is Mamie’s Mysterious Accomplice?
Fans are itching to know who it is that Mamie Johnson is secretly conspiring with. According to Soaps She Knows, Mamie’s secret partner’s identity may be none other than her dearly departed niece, Drucilla Winters.
Yes, we know that it has been 15 years since Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) seemingly fell to her death when she tumbled over a cliff. But in the soap world, the writers often choose to kill off characters and then realize it was a huge mistake.
They also often find a way to rectify those mistakes by finding wild and crazy ways to resurrect the dearly departed. This looks like it could be that time for Drucilla. Whether or not Rowell will return to the role if this insane spoiler plays out is yet to be known.
Longtime fans of “The Young and the Restless” may recall Rowell and CBS had a run-in when, in 2015, she filed a lawsuit against the network and the soap’s producers that alleged racial discrimination and retaliation. The suit was eventually dismissed.
However, in 2020, she gave the network some encouraging words, stating she would be interested in hearing from them again. “I see an opportunity happening. I hope this opportunity won’t be just a media moment; I hope that it will be sustainable in its systemic change, and I look forward to more calls from CBS.” But how the network and producers stand with her remains unknown at this time. But fans would love to see bygones be bygones, especially if they get a thrilling and juicy storyline from their favorite soap.
Look For an Upcoming Event to Take a Dangerous Turn
Most daytime soaps know the holidays are the best time to kick up viewership. There is just something about a huge holiday gathering that brings out the worst in our favorite daytime soap villains.
With Halloween edging closer, it would not be a huge surprise to see some Y&R evil-doers look for a way to take out an enemy or two. This fall, there is quite a list of contenders. First, we have Victor Newman, who has angered almost everyone in his family. Victoria is incredibly salty, and she is looking to seek revenge. Whether it is on her father or another family member is unknown.
We also have Tucker McCall. He is on everyone’s list as a top enemy. he has his hands in everything coming and going in Genoa City. So he is also making a lot of enemies that would like nothing more than to see him out of their way for good. Right now, his number one enemy is Billy Abbott. Once Billy gets wind of everything Tucker is doing to destroy him, there will be no telling how far he will go to end Tucker’s reign of terror.
These are just a few characters that “The Young and Restless” fans could find in a dark and situation as we get further into the fall. So you will not want to miss any exciting drama that is creeping up this October.
