The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Paul shot, clinging to life

Tragedy strikes Genoa City. The Young and the Restless fans prepare to be shocked while we watch one of our beloved residents of Genoa City get brutally shot down and cling to his life awaiting help.

Word on the soap street is that The Young and the Restless internet stalker story is now going to be tied in with a serious life altering story where Paul Williams will be shot and on deaths door after attempting to rescue Avery.

It is being teased that Avery’s stalker is someone related to her past as an attorney, someone harboring a big grudge and looking for revenge.

All fingers are pointing to Avery’s cameraman Austin.

It is suggested that Austin will trick Avery to coming to his home where he will hold her captive, torturing her. Paul Williams is on the case and will come busting in to save Avery, but not before he is gunned down by her stalker.

Will Paul’s near death experience change his life forever?

Paul will be rushed to the hospital with next to zero chance to live unless they can find a matching organ donor.Coincidentially no-one in his family is a match.

Paul will be lying on his death bed when he will find out that he is the father of Dylan, who sacrifices his own life to help save the life of the father he has never known.

This is also predicted to be the event that will find Nikki and Paul professing their love for each other again, and wanting to become a family with their son Dylan.

Not a neat and tidy family reunion, and surely one that will not be easy for the rest of the Newman’s to accept, especially Victor.

But then again, nothing is every neat and tidy in Genoa City.

Fans believe that The Young and the Restless writers are filling this story in to buy a little added time to the Adam Newman return.

It has been suggested that Jill Phelps is hoping to get things worked out with Michael Muhney The Young and the Restlessbefore letting Adam Newman return to Genoa City.

This could mean many more months of only seeing Adam Newman’s hands and dark shadows from a distance.

What do you think about the turn that The Young and the Restless has taken these past few months?

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday on CBS.
