The “Young and the Restless” spoilers say that the Newman brothers do not see eye to eye regarding Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) latest plans. Victor has a tough decision and must choose between his sons, Adam Newman ( Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), to take over as CEO of Newman Enterprises.
Spoilers for August 28- September 1 week reveal that tempers will flare among the Newman men. Victor calls for a meeting with Adam, Sharon ( Sharon Case), and Nick to discuss the best options for the company. According to Soaps.Com, he wants to allow both of his sons the opportunity to share their ideas before revealing his choice of the new CEO of Newman Enterprises.
Adam begins to state his case. He believes he deserves to head the company, and of course, Nick disagrees. Adam is not backing down. He believes he has the right qualities to take Newman Enterprises to the next level.
The Young & the Restless: Nick Loses Control – Things Become Physical with Adam
One of Nick’s biggest problems is his inability to control his anger. The “Young and the Restless” fans know that once Adam sees that Nick losing his temper, he will continue to push his brother’s buttons. Adam tells Victor that even though he is smug and arrogant, he knows how to do the job. He attempts to pull Victor to his side and tells him that he believes Nick doesn’t have what it takes to run a company like Newman.
This is precisely what Sharon and Nick have feared all along. They want to avoid seeing Adam at the helm. Just as it looks like Victor is 1000 percent in favor of Adam taking over, Nick loses control. His temper escalates, and he jumps up and delivers an unexpected knockout blow to Adam’s smug face. This scene will set the stage for a week of heated drama and family controversy that could destroy everything Victor, Adam, Nick, and Sharon have been working toward.
Chaos Erupts on “Y&R”
Before the sitdown with Victor and Adam, Sharon and Nick discussed the possibilities of the deal going south. Especially if Victor sided with Adam. Now that they see that Adam’s plans and theirs for the merger and the future of Newman Enterprises do not match up, they may reconsider and back out of the deal entirely.
He vows revenge once Adam realizes that Nick and Sharon may back out of the deal. He is unwilling to let anything stand in his way. Adam Newman doesn’t care who gets hurt or who he must destroy to get his way. However, in “The Young and the Restless,” Nick’s anger issues continue to build. He is through letting Adam call the shots. The punch in the face is just the tip of the iceberg.
If Nick doesn’t get a grasp on his temper, he may find that he will have more serious problems to contend with than Adam’s takeover. Victor loves to see his sons compete for the business, but this time, it cost the Newman family more than they bargained for.
