The week of August 25th’s spoilers for The Young and the Restless reveals that Genoa City residents will get together at the park to hold a special remembrance ceremony for Katherine, with a special guest arriving just in time.

Y&R reports reveal that Katherine’s husband Murphy and close friend Nina will arrive for the ceremony which is sure to cause quite the stir in the city.

Nikki Newman headed for danger with her drinking again

Nikki Newman also stirs up the controversial pot on The Young and the Restless as she tumbles hard of the wagon this week knocking back shot after shot of vodka.

This week also finds Mariah confiding once again in Ian Ward as she tells him her plans to leave Genoa City
But, Ian Ward tells Mariah he believes she should stay and make amends with Sharon and Nick,oddly enough with the FBI hot and Ian’s trail they arrive at his door to find Ian long gone and Mariah also missing.
And ne of the biggest moments of the Young and the Restless’ summer storylines is about to come to a head as Phyllis awakes from her coma once and for all.

There has also been some rumor mill rumblings that another Y&R character is going to be killed off, but not before battling a long and deadly disease.

Where do you think these story lines will wind up, will Nikki’s drinking bring her more heartache in her life and the lives of her family, and will Katherine’s remembrance ceremony find the residents of Genoa City turning against each other instead of coming together to honor her memory?
