“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for the first week of October show that even the oldest of vendettas never die. Two longtime rivals are about to cross paths again. Their encounter won’t be pretty, and it won’t be long before their hate erupts into one of the nastiest feuds that Y&R viewers have ever seen.
The Young and the Restless: Jill Abbott Marks Her Territory
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) arrives in Genoa City just in time to cross paths with her mortal enemy. When she enters the Jazz club, she has no idea that her past is back to haunt her. Jill’s threats will not go unnoticed because a crowd will gather to watch her explode.
When the Young and the Restless fans heard that the producers were bringing back Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd), they knew immediately that things were about to heat up. It will hit the fan once Jill discovers that one of her biggest enemies is back in town.
Jill is unable to control her rage, and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Abby Newman _Abbott (Melissa Ordway), Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) all have a front-row seat to the big show.
Mamie Johnson keeps her cool as Jill explodes. She demands that Mamie reveal her reason for returning to Genoa City. Mamie is having fun playing a little cat-and-mouse game with Jill. But the calmer she remains, the more Jill shows her true colors.
After Jill accuses Mamie of being up to no good. She demands that Mamie tell her why she is here. Jill knows that Mamie has her hand in a business deal going down in Chancellor-Winters, but she doesn’t have all the details yet. So all her screaming and threats are getting her nowhere with Mamie.
But Jill is not about to give up. She plans to find out everything and expose Mamie along teh way. This revenge plot has been coming for a long time. But she doesn’t know that Mamie also has her own revenge plans.
A Newcomer Intrigues The Newmans
Mamie Johnson is not the only new face in town this week. According to CDL, fan-favorite character Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is also back for an extended stay. He will step in and interfere with Phyllis SummersΒ (Michelle Stafford) dirty involvement with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Danny could be just the savior she is looking for to help keep her from ending up in some serious legal troubles at the hands of Tucker. Another familiar face will also catch The Young and the Restless viewers’ eyes. Former Y&R star Haley Erin is back but will have a brand new role.

Erin formerly played Abby Newman before leaving the show in 2010. She makes her return as a newcomer, Claire Grace. Look for Claire to shake things up when she joins the ranks of Newman Media in the next few weeks. She already has the attention of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) after Claire applied for an assistant position at Newman Media. Nikki finds Claire fascinating and wants to learn more about the mysterious newcomer.
The Young and the Restless: Jack Plans to Turn the Tables On the Enemy
Things are also heating up over at Jabot. There is trouble brewing with the Abbott family, and it will cause some explosive family drama. Jack Abbott ( Peter Bergman) is on high alert. He knows something is up and plans to get to the bottom.
“The Young and the Restless” fans know Jack operates by trusting his gut instincts. His gut is telling him Tucker is involved in some shady doings at Jabot. He also suspects that Phyllis may be a part of it as well.
Jack doesn’t trust Phyllis but feels confident that he can convince her to play ball on his team. He feels she could be a valuable weapon in his war against Tucker. But it could be too late once he finds out what Tucker has planned for him. That is unless Danny talks her into coming clean before any real damage can be done.
