This Is Us Season 2 is going to be huge. Fans are already eagerly awaiting the September premiere to find out what is next in store for Jack Pearson and his family, and according to the latest news, fans will not be disappointed.
According to This Is Us Crying, Season 2 of the show is set to be a roller coaster of emotion. Executive producer, Ken Olin, recently revealed that he got to see the first cut of the premiere and teases fans by saying, “It will blow you away.”
When fans last left off with This Is Us, Randall’s father, William, had died, Kate and Toby were engaged, Kevin received a job offer to film a movie with Ron Howard, and Randall asked his wife Beth to adopt a child. In the past, fans watched as Jack and Rebecca’s marriage hit an all time low, and they decided to live apart for awhile.
In addition to whatever the writers are set to throw at fans during This Is Us Season 2, viewers will also get to see major deaths about Jack’s death. As fans know, Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) is dead in the present day and his wife, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) is married to his former best friend, Miguel.
As for This Is Us‘ tear jerking moments, Olin claims that fans need to forget the tissues, and opt for something more durable like beach towels while they are watching the show’s signature emotional scenes this year.
