Pro golfer Tiger Woods is in a bad way following the death of his beloved mom, Kutilda. His friends and family fear the athlete is struggling with the loss so much that his sobriety is in jeopardy. Tiger is in a dark and dangerous place, and those close to him are concerned.

The death of Tiger’s mom has left him very fragile. According to Radar Online, sources fear Tiger is very close to slipping back into a dangerous pattern. “He was a true mama’s boy,” reveals the insider. It has been hard on him to move on.

Kutilda, 80, passed away on February 4, and since then the golfer has been truly lost. Following her death, Tiger Woods took to social media to honor his mother and share his grief. “My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable.”

He described his mom as his ‘biggest fan, and greatest supporter.’ Tiger thanked his mother, admitting, “Without her, none of my personal achievements would have been possible.” He also acknowledges that Kutilda helped him through some very dark times in the past.

Insiders reveal that Tiger Woods has never really recovered from his humiliating past issues. As fans may recall in 2009, Tiger made news headlines during his divorce from wife Elin Nordegren. The pro athlete was exposed as a serial cheater, sex addict, and drug addict.

Tiger Woods Headed Down A Dark Path

During the Thanksgiving holiday,  Elin angrily confronted her husband. She served up her own form of poetic justice while chasing him out of their house with a golf club. Woods tried to escape his angry wife‘s wrath and crashed his SUV into a neighborhood fire hydrant.

Following the explosive confrontation, Tiger Woods’ life then imploded, exposing his months-long affair with a New York City nightclub hostess named Rachel Uchitel. The shocking public scandal soon found Woods a serial cheater, confessing to sleeping with 120 women and 15 mistresses.

Woods spent six weeks at the Gentle Path center in Mississippi for sex addiction after a series of highly publicized affairs. He also then enrolled at The Meadows treatment center in Wickenburg, Arizona to treat his addiction to Vicodin and Ambien.

His addiction issues didn’t stop there over the years, in 2017 Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI and entered another 14-day rehab program. Throughout his addiction struggle, his mother stood by his side.

“She steered him on the straight and narrow and was the strongest female presence in his life. Her loss has left him devastated, and there’s a very real concern he’ll become vulnerable to old ways. His sobriety is quite perilous. It’s one day at a time for him, and the worry is this could really trigger him to a dark place,” the insider states.
