Tom Sandoval will be back for “Vanderpump Rules” Season 11. However, things will be much different as the dynamic within the group has shifted. Because of Sandoval’s cheating scandal with Raquel Leviss, things are much different for the upcoming season.
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s cheating drama set up a dramatic Season 11
In March 2023, Tom Sandoval and his girlfriend of nearly a decade, Ariana Madix, split. The couple called it quits after Sandoval was busted cheating on Madix with her close friend, Raquel Leviss. The scandal erupted, and fans went wild over the reality TV drama.
When it came time to film Season 11 of the show, things were much different. Due to the scandal, Leviss entered a facility to work on her mental health. After emerging from treatment, she declared that she would not return to the show for the new season. Meanwhile, Sandoval says that filming Season 11 of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” spin-off was very difficult for him.
Tom Sandoval says filming Vanderpump Rules Season 11 was terrible
Tom Sandoval didn’t sugarcoat the difficulty that he had with his co-stars following his cheating scandal. He even says he got emotional when they finally began to include him as a member of the group.
“[Filming season 11] was awful for me. It was absolutely horrible. I have seen other castmates — and I’ve always tried to be there for them — be pushed out of the group,” Sandoval said on the “30, Flirty, and Flying” podcast. “I always had sympathy and I always looked out for those people. But to actually be that person was a whole different story. It was very depressing.”
“I remember very specifically the first time I walked [in] and saw the group. We were taking a trip together, and they were like, ‘Hey, we are over here.’ I had been so iced out, and someone saying that — I am getting emotional just thinking about it. That little thing, it meant so much at the time,” the Masked Singer contestant added.
Ariana Madix says she wouldn’t film with Tom Sandoval or Raquel Leviss
In addition to Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, Brock Davies, Ally Lewber, Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, James Kennedy, Tom Schwartz, will all return for Season 11. Of course, Lisa Vanderpump will also be included in the upcoming episodes as well.
When asked if she would be open to filming “Vanderpump Rules” with Sandoval or Leviss, Madix revealed that she wouldn’t do it. “No. I have nothing to say to either of them. Our show is very real and follows a real group of friends, and neither of them are in the group of friends, so, good luck,” she told the New York Times in May 2023.
Meanwhile, fans will be able to watch all of the drama unfold when “Vanderpump Rules” Season 11 premieres in January 2024.
