However, this week, fans were a bit taken aback when Barker shared a new video of himself in the delivery room with Kardashian.
Travis Barker called out for drumming while Kourtney Kardashian gave birth
Barker has made no secret that he loves his drums. The musician is seen holding his drumsticks and keeping beat all the time. That reportedly includes in the delivery room with his wife. This week, Barker shared a video of himself on TikTok using a drum pad and keeping time to the beat of his baby’s heart. “Practicing to my babies heartbeat,” Barker captioned the clip. Kardashian later shared the video to her own social media page.
It’s unclear if the video was taken in the delivery room. However, Page Six claims that it’s presumed Barker video was taken while Kardashian was laboring. Of course, fans had a lot to say about the clip either way.
“He had to BRING that to the doctor’s office,” one fan commented. “This would overstimulate me,” another stated. “I would be literally so annoyed. I couldn’t do it,” a third fan said. “Didn’t expect anything less than Travis bringing drums to the delivery room,” another said.
Meanwhile, others appreciated Barker’s dedication. One person even had a theory that the musician would be using the beat of his baby’s heart in an upcoming song. “Drummers will drum anywhere fr,” another social media user said. “That’s so dope,” another declared.

Just days before Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her first child with Travis Barker, the drummer dished some details about their new little bundle of joy. Barker told the “One Life One Chance” podcast with Toby Morse that he and Kardashian were naming their baby boy Rocky Thirteen Barker.
Previously, Barker revealed the inspiration behind the unique name. “Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies, and 13 is just the greatest number of all time,” he explained in an interview with Complex.
Baby Barker was born the first week of November
Kardashian reportedly gave birth the first week of November. The couple’s baby boy came into the world after a bit of drama. Earlier this year, the reality star admitted that she underwent emergency fetal surgery to save her son. The scary situation had Barker rushing home from his tour to be by his wife’s side. Thankfully, the surgery was successful.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” Kardashian told fans via Instagram. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
