Travis Kelce is one of the most recognized players in the NFL. He’s dating a mega star in Taylor Swift, and had a great relationship with his family. However, his Thanksgiving isn’t going to be what fans might imagine. In fact, it might be a little sad.
Travis Kelce shares his sad plans for the Thanksgiving holiday
Travis Kelce and his older brother, Jason Kelce, talked about their Thanksgiving plans on the newest installment of their podcast, “New Heights.” The two brothers went head-t0-head on Monday night football, with Jason’s Eagles taking home the win. However, the family seemingly didn’t get to have a Thanksgiving dinner while united in Philly.
During the podcast, Travis and Jason opened up about their Thanksgiving plans. While Jason revealed he’d be spending the day with his wife, Kylie Kelce, and their three daughters, Travis admitted that he would be all alone.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he planned to “be feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here.” Of course, Jason invited Travis to come spend the holiday with him and his family. The older sibling promised that they’d have “plenty of food” if Travis wanted to take a “quick trip” to Philidelphia for some turkey.
How is Taylor Swift spending Thanksgiving?
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been spending as much time together as possible. However, it appears that they couldn’t make their Thanksgiving plans work. Swift is currently on the international leg of her ERAS Tour. She’s been busy performing in Brazil, and it appears that she’ll stay there throughout the holiday.
However, the couple aren’t letting their busy schedules get in the way of their budding romance. Sources tell Us Weekly, that the duo have mapped out a plan for the next few months to ensure that they’ll be able to spend as much time together as possible.
“Taylor and Travis have the next few months completely laid out. They don’t want to start their relationship off with big gaps [in time spent apart]. They’re trying to be as much like a regular couple as possible,” the informant dished.
Travis can’t help but gush over Taylor
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, Travis Kelce recently opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift in a detailed interview. He even admitted that they share the same values when it comes to family.
“Everybody knows I’m a family guy,” Kelce told WSJ. “Her team is her family. Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”
While Travis and Taylor won’t be spending Thanksgiving together, Christmas will likely be another story.
