Now, Travis’ sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, is setting the record straight about some tabloid drama surrounding her and Swift.
Kylie Kelce speaks out about tabloid headlines
Kylie Kelce isn’t about to let the media put words in her mouth. As the wife of Travis Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, Kylie knows all too well what goes along with being in the spotlight. However, she recently revealed that she chooses to stay out of the limelight as much as possible. Her quotes were then twisted to involve Taylor Swift.
This week, Kylie took to TikTok to share her thoughts on the headlines. When previously asked if she would sit in Travis’ suit at the Chiefs and Eagles game on Monday, Kylie revealed that the suite and the attention that goes with it wasn’t for her. She admitted that she would rather sit in the stands and cheer on her husband and his team.
“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera. I was a communication major in college. I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter,” she told Spectrum News.
“I will be in the stands tomorrow. I’m a stands girl. I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans even if it’s in an opposite team’s stadium,” Kylie added. “Travis has a lot of people come to games, appropriately so. Everyone loves to support him, but it means it’s a tight squeeze in there. Also, it’s fun to cheer and not feel like the entire room is rooting against you.”
Kylie isn’t into the drama
After the interview, headlines suggested that Kylie Kelce didn’t want to sit in Travis Kelce‘s suite because of all of the attention his girlfriend Taylor Swift tends to get. However, in her TikTok video, Kylie clearly revealed that she never said that.
“I didn’t say that. That seems like a stretch to me. You’re reaching,” she said of the headline.

Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift’s families haven’t met yet
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s families were set to meet in Kansas City during Monday Night Football. However, those plans got delayed after Swift was forced to reschedule some of her concerts in Brazil. It appears that their parents haven’t yet met. In addition, it doesn’t seem that Swift has met Jason and Kylie Kelce either.
Swift is known for having a lot of strong female friendships. It also seems that Kylie has that in her life as well. The two women may appear to be totally different in their personalities. However, that doesn’t mean that they can’t get along and be friends.
Kylie may not be seen heading to dinner in NYC with Taylor, Brittany Mahomes, and Blake Lively. However, she and Taylor could form a solid bond as the loves of the Kelce brothers.
