“Ultimate Survival Alaska” star Jimmy Gojdics was shot and killed in Alaska and cops believe it was a homicide, TMZ reports.
‘Ultimate Survival Alaska’: Jimmy Gojdics Shot Dead
According to the report, Alaska State Troopers were called to Jimmy’s residence on Sunday where they found the reality TV star in serious condition. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have no suspects so far, but do believe Jimmy was murdered.
Jimmy Had No Family, Lots of Friends
On Season 2 of “Ultimate Survival Alaska” Jimmy Gojdics competed and finished fourth with his team. Us Weekly reports that Gojdics had no family members, but had a lot of friends in the town of Fairbanks. Close friend Janine Carlson revealed that Jimmy wintered in Alaska as much as he could and that “Everyone was his friend and he met someone everywhere.”
National Geographic Releases Statement
The National Geographic Channel released a statement about their former reality competitor’s death saying, “We were saddened to learn of Mr. Gaydos’s untimely passing and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.”
