Val Kilmer claims that his battle with cancer is over. Kilmer was first diagnosed with a malignant throat tumor in 2015 reveals he is ‘miraculously cured’ according to National Enquirer reports.
Over the past several years Val Kilmer’s family, friends, and fans grew very concerned about Val. It was obvious that Kilmer was battling some form of medical issues, but chose to remain private and silent on the matter.
“I’m cured!” claimed the cancer-riddled Batman Forever actor. During his active battle against the cancer Kilmer chose to avoid modern medical care for alternative treatments.
The “Top Gun “actor traveled the globe trying any and all alternative treatments including acupuncture, meditation, and aromatherapy. The throat cancer took a toll on Kilmer in many ways. He was having so many issues with talking that he could only muster the strength to whisper.
As reported previously, close friend and “Top Gun” co-star Tom Cruise claimed that he believed that he and Scientology are responsible for Kilmer’s throat cancer recovery.
In July, Cruise announced that Val was ‘doing great’ and sources close to Cruise stated that Tom is positive that has the power to heal others with his touch and Scientology beliefs.
As for Val Kilmer, well he is just thrilled and extremely thankful to be on the mend and able to return back to work. Val claims he has had the best time working on “Top Gun 2′ with Tom Cruise calling it a thrill to be reunited with his old friend and co start once again.
One things is for certain, Val’s family and fans are all very happy to see the old Val starting to return it has been a long and hard battle. How he got there, remains a scientific, or Scientology mystery depending on how you choose to look at things.
