Virgin River” fans rejoice! Netflix has finally made the big announcement we’ve been waiting to hear. The show has officially been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5, reports People Magazine. This is great news as fans have been dying to know what happens after the Season 3 cliffhanger.

Fans have come to love “Virgin River,” which stars Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson as adorable couple Mel Monroe and Jack Sheridan. Since Season 3 was such a wild ride, viewers are thrilled about the news of two more seasons.

During Seasons 4 and 5, “Virgin River” fans are hoping to get some major answers to all of their burning questions like who shot Jack? In addition, everyone wants to know who the father of Mel’s baby is, and if Jack and Charmaine can settle their custody differences.

Aside from the two main characters, there’s a lot of drama going on in the small town. Fan-favorite character Preacher has found himself in a bad situation. It appears that he’s been kidnapped, and may be forced to answer questions about Paige. Ricky and Lizzie’s budding relationship is also on the rocks after he enlisted in the military without telling her.

What’s in store for ‘Virgin River’ Seasons 4 and 5?

In addition, Doc is dealing with health issues and Hope has been involved in a car accident that is threatening her life. There’s just so much to unpack, and all will hopefully be answered when the series returns to Netflix for more episodes.

Since “Virgin River” Season 3 was released in July, it seems that viewers will have to wait until 2022 before Season 4 is released. It will likely be another spring or summer premiere date for the show. Although there hasn’t been any confirmation or release date, fans will be keeping an eye out for any and all news surrounding Season 4.

According to What’s On Netflix, actor Daniel Gillies, who plays Mel’s late husband Mark Monroe in flashbacks, has also teased his return to the series. “Here’s what I’ll say, somewhat enigmatically, the good news about being the dead husband is that you can appear at any time. I’ll leave it at that,” he said.

Currently, the first three seasons of “Virgin River” are streaming on Netflix, so you have plenty of time catch up or do a re-watch before Seasons 4 and 5 arrive!
