Welcome to Plathville: Micah Plath Steers Clear of the Holiday Cheer
Micah Plath decided to take on a new venture instead of heading home over the Christmas holiday. Things remain tense between some of the “Welcome to Plathville” family members. So, instead of dealing with the crazy family drama, he spends some time in the mountains, skiing and snowboarding.
The reality star admits that his family is dealing with many things. So, instead of dealing with all the chaos, he opted for some quiet time. Since his mom, Kim Plath, recently told the family that she was dating an old family friend, Ken Palmer, it has taken the siblings a bit to get used to the idea,
Micah Plath has not had an easy time dealing with the family drama, especially since talking with his mom, Kim Plath, about the divorce. It has opened his eyes to relationships dos and don’ts. He also has big brother Ethan Plath to thank for that, too.
Kim Plath Starts New Christmas Traditions
In the past, the “Welcome to Plathville” family never really went all out with family Christmas traditions. But a lot has changed. Kim Plath says she has changed the most, So instead of ditching her past, she is ready to start incorporating some new holiday traditions into the family mix.

Of course, this Christmas turnaround also may have to do with her new life and new boyfriend, Ken Palmer. Kim seems eager to have her children spend as much time with Ken as possible. She wants her children to get to know him.
Since they are taking their relationship to a more serious level, she wants the kids to start feeling comfortable around Ken. But all of her kids may not be as eager as their mother would like. So, she is allowing them to take baby steps.
Welcome to Plathville: Micah Considers Moving Back Home
Micah Plath loves spending time with his family. But since his parents are different, he feels he needs more time to adjust. So, instead of rushing his feelings, he takes more time to process them.
In the mid-season season sneak preview of “Welcome to Plathville,” Micah talks with his friends in Los Angeles about how much he misses his family. During the conversation, Micah tells his pals that he is pretty homesick. He even says he is considering moving back home.
This is not the first time Micah Plath has mentioned moving back home. Earlier in the “Welcome to Plathville” season, he talked to his dad, Barry Plath. Micah confessed to him how much he misses being at home. His dad then offered him some sound advice and told him he could always move back home.
Micah replies that he might do that at some point. He says he loves Los Angeles and has a good time living there. However, he admits that he has done much reflecting on his past and truly misses it. So, “Welcome to Plathville” viewers may see more than one Plath sibling return to their roots before Season 5 ends.
