Wendy Williams claims that she does not believe Christie Brinkley’s “Dancing With the Stars” injuries are quite as serious as the supermodel has made them out to be.
Wendy Williams went straight for the jugular on her talk show Monday, stating that Christie Brinkley’s injuries “Looked fake as hell” according to In Touch.
Wendy claims she has a theory behind her claim and believes that Brinkley may have had a secret agenda from the very beginning. Wendy finds Christie’s “injury” just too coincidental. It does not help matters according to Williams that the 65-year-old was quickly replaced by her look-a-like and much younger daughter Sailor is very questionable to her.

Williams shared Brinkley’s injury video with her guest stating;
“Here’s my thought, OK? Dancing With the Stars called Christie Brinkley and said, ‘Do you want to [do] Dancing With the Stars?’ And so she said, ‘Yes.’ So after she got off the phone, that’s when she plotted her schedule,” Wendy theorized. “… In my opinion, I think what Christie did, was she signed up for Dancing With the Stars knowing that she’d put her daughter Sailor in there.”
It appears that Wendy Williams is not the only ones unhappy with Christie’s daughter Sailor stepping in as her replacement. According to Inquisitr, some of the DWTS cast members were not happy with the replacement decision either.
As far as some of the cast are concerned Sailor Brinkley-Cook stepping in for her mom is not a fair decision.Ally Brooke and Lauren Alaina are allegedly very unhappy that the network decided to replace Christie Brinkley with her daughter.
“Ally and Lauren seem irritated that another young celebrity has come into the mix. They are annoyed there is another young girl to go up against,” an insider told the outlet, adding that both of the women had counted Christie out simply because of her age, but now with Sailor in the competition, it’s a very different story.
ABC made the huge casting change just hours before the season 28 premiere on Monday, September 16. The announcement simply stated that Sailor Brinkley-Cook would be filling in for her mom Christie Brinkley due to Christie’s wrist and arm injuries, which would require surgery.
Sailor, 21, can most likely expect quite a bit of animosity not only from her costars on Dancing With the Stars but from Wendy Williams throughout the season.
Wendy Williams already believes there is a huge chance that Christie Brinkley found a way to bow out of the dance competition to further her daughter’s modeling career, imagine her reactions should Sailor Brinkley Cook win the Mirror Ball Trophy?
