Walton Goggins raised eyebrows over the weekend when he seemingly fanned the flames of the “White Lotus” feud between himself and co-star Aimee Lou Wood. It’s been reported that the pair, who played love interests Rick and Chelsea on Season 3 of the hit HBO series, have bad blood between them. Now, a “Saturday Night Live” sketch may have proven it.
According to Page Six, “SNL” poked fun at “The White Lotus” with a skit titled “The White POTUS.” Of course, it featured Donald Trump, his family, and other government heavy hitters. In one scene, Walton Goggins’ character is portrayed by host Jon Hamm, pretending to be Robert Kennedy Jr. Opposite him, “Saturday Night Live” cast member, Sarah Sherman, portrayed Aimee Lou Wood’s character, and made a joke about her teeth.
After the show aired, Wood spoke out about the sketch. The actress called it “mean” and “unfunny.” Wood went on to reveal that she had no problem with Sherman’s portrayal, just the sketch in general. She later got an apology from “SNL.”

However, Goggins seemed to have no problem with the skit. In fact, he took to social media to praise it. “SMASHING,” he wrote. “Jon I knew I was miscast,” he added, referencing Jon Hamm’s work in the sketch. He also commented on the official “SNL” Instagram account, saying “Hahahahahaha Amazzzingggg.”
On-set feuds between co-stars are nothing new in Hollywood. Just ask Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni! However, fans can’t help but wonder what led to the bad blood between Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood. Especially since they had such great chemistry on the show.
“Look at Uncle Baby Billy stirring up trouble, or should I say MIS-BE-Havin’,” one person stated.
“This White Lotus feud drama is juicy. This could be a TV show in itself,” said another.
A recent blind item on TikTok claims that the drama started when Goggins and Wood had an alleged on-set affair. The actor’s wife allegedly found out and blocked Aimee on social media.
Since “The White Lotus” Season 3 is over and done with, the rumors about Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood’s feud are likely to die down. That is, unless any more twists in the story stir up fan interest again.
