“Yellowstone” Season 5 has yet to air the final episodes. The show has undergone so much drama in the past few months, but fans aren’t giving up hope for their favorite characters. Now that it’s been announced that the second half of the season will be the last, viewers are speculating about what is going to happen before the series finale. Sadly, a dark new theory has some fans stunned and worried for the likes of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler.
Yellowstone Season 5: New Beth and Rip fan theory is so dark
Nobody knows what the final episodes of “Yellowstone” will entail. However, many fans believe that it won’t bode well for several of the characters. Many viewers believe that many Dutton family members will die. Characters such as Beth and Rip, Kayce and Monica, Jamie, and John have all been the target of online death speculation. Now, one Reddit fans has people talking with their grim prediction for the show.
After one Redditor revealed that they believed Rip may kill Jamie in Season 5, another laid a shocking new theory out. “I don’t think Rip is going to kill Jamie. I think more likely Rip dies in some fashion,” the comment read, adding that Rip’s death could led Beth to take her own life. Of course, that scenario would be absolutely heartbreaking on so many levels.
While that fan theory is not confirmed, many other “Yellowstone” fans do agree with the prediction that Rip will die before the show ends. Rip has become one of the most popular characters on the Western series, and viewers would likely be devastated to see him lose his life before getting a happy ending with Beth.
Cole Hauser weighs in on the possibility of Rip Wheeler’s death
The speculation of Rip’s death has become so prominent among fans that actor Cole Hauser previously spoke out about the possibility. In a previous interview with TODAY, Hauser admitted that he knows about the worry for his character. He even confessed that his own mother keeps him up on all of the internet gossip surrounding Rip Wheeler. However, Hauser has the perfect response to the speculation. “My mom’s told me a couple of them, and I said, ‘Mom, I do the killing. Don’t worry about it,’” he said.
However, Hauser can’t know the endgame for Rip just yet. With the finale of episodes of “Yellowstone” to be filmed and released in the future, anything is possible. Although Rip seemed safe in the past, the show ending throws all the rules out the window. It looks like everyone is fair game. Of course, viewers would love to see a Beth and Rip spin-off series. Sadly, fans will have to continue to wonder. It seems that the rest of Season 5 is still several months away.
