Yellowstone Season 5 spoilers are few and far between since the show is currently on hiatus, but fans are already trying to figure out what’s in store for their favorite characters. Warning: Spoilers below!

In the mid-season finale, fans watched the Dutton family plan for war, per A.V. Club. After Jaime moved to impeach John as Governor of Montana, Beth looked to strike back. She broke into Jamie’s house and threatened him. Beth told her adopted brother that if he didn’t resign from his job she would share photos of him dumping the body of his biological father over a cliff. Of course, Jamie killed his bio dad back in Season 4.

However, Jamie gave Beth a bit of a shock. The older brother revealed that if Beth were to expose his murderous ways, she’d be exposing their father as well. Jamie then went on to tell Beth about the “train station,” the nickname for the spot where John and Rip take the bodies of their victims to dispose of them.

During the Yellowstone Season 5 mid-season finale, Beth asked John about the train station and he came clean. After learning more, Beth decided that the only way to make their problems with Jamie disappear is for him to also take a trip to the train station. Meanwhile, Jamie and his new girlfriend were plotting something similar. Jamie decided that he wanted to explore hiring a hitman to take out Beth.

While the second half of Season 5 will likely give fans answers to all of their burning questions, viewers are now afraid that someone may die. Whether it’s Jamie, John, or Beth, the war is sure to have some sort of casualty. However, what if there is an unfortunate victim of the war? Perhaps something goes wrong with the family’s hits and someone else loses their life.

Will an innocent Dutton family member or friend pay the price?

There’s a chance that someone like Summer could be caught in the crossfire of the Dutton war. Sadly, this means that others like any members of the bunkhouse, (including everyone’s favorite character Rip), could also be at risk. To make matters worse, Kayce, who has always tried to stay out of his family’s drama could end up being a victim.

Whether Kayce is the one who loses his life, or perhaps his wife Monica or son Tate becomes a heartbreaking victim of the family’s war, things could get very messy on the ranch. No matter what the Dutton family war ends up costing the family, things seem like they’re about to get very intense when Yellowstone Season 5 returns this summer.
