“Yellowstone” Season 5 has yet to conclude due to the Hollywood strikes. However, when it returns, it will be wrapping up the series. Sadly, the show has been canceled after issues with the lead actor Kevin Costner were made public. However, before the final episode airs, fans may see a shocking twist when it comes to Beth Dutton.
Yellowstone spoilers suggest a Beth and Jamie team up
During the first part of “Yellowstone” Season 5, Beth and Jamie seemed to be on a collision course headed for disaster. While Jamie has often tried to fit in with his Dutton siblings, he and Beth have had bad blood since they were children. As fans know, Beth holds a grudge against Jamie for taking her to an abortion clinic that sterilized her when she found out she was pregnant as a teenager. Beth blames Jamie for not being able to have children. Since that time, the two have been at odds.
As adults, they fought against each other at every turn. However, in early Season 5 episodes, there are some hints that Beth and Jamie might have to team up against their own father, John Dutton (Costner). Beth was seen calling out John for his bad business practices. Beth was furious when John refused her business plan to make money and save the ranch.
Meanwhile, Jamie is working on a plan to impeach John from the Mayor’s office. If Beth and Jamie are both doing whatever they can to save the ranch and their family business, they might have to work together to make it happen.
Who will end up with the Ranch at the end of Yellowstone?
Many “Yellowstone” fans are expecting major shockers to end the series. Character deaths and big storylines are sure to come leading up to the series finale. However, viewers do want to see the ranch live on. So, which Dutton should take over the family business? Tate is an obvious answer, as he’s been the most interested in it. However, he’s still too young to be in charge. Of course, Kayce has revealed he doesn’t want to do it.
Meanwhile, Beth has revealed that she has no interest in keeping the ranch past John’s death. However, her husband, Rip Wheeler, loves the ranch dearly. Perhaps the two could run the ranch together. Rip can do the day-to-day tasks while Beth takes care of the finances and business of it all. They could raise their adoptive son there as well. However, that may be too happy of an ending for Beth and Rip.
Fans continue to wait to see how “Yellowstone” will end its run. However, many want to see Rip and Beth survive whatever is to come.
