Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood was spotted in Los Angeles making a grocery run with fiancee Stephanie Hobgood just weeks before his upcoming custody trial.
While Lisa Marie Presley remains to keep a low profile her 59-year-old ex fourth husband Michael Lockwood set out donning a bright yellow tee and matching shorts, a red scarf, and a black face mask to pick up pizza and few essentials while his wife-to-be hairstylist Stephanie waited patiently in their black SUV according to Closer Weekly.
Lockwood appears carefree and moving along with his life post marriage to Lisa Marie and coronavirus quarantine. The former couple is set to appear in court in July to face off over custody of their twin-11-year-old daughters Harper and Finely.
As previously reported, Lisa Marie Presley ended her 10-year-marriage to Lockwood in 2016. In January it was reported that Lisa was furious over Michael’s latest antics after she was forbidden to take her daughters to Memphis to her father, Elvis Presley’s 85th birthday celebration at Graceland.
Lisa quickly filed emergency court documents asking the courts to allow the children to leave the state to pay tribute to their late grandfather at the yearly event, however, she was quickly shut down.
Lisa and Michael Lockwood are scheduled to appear in court on July 20 to begin the custody trial. The courts have allowed for a full month to settle the case. If things do not go smoothly Lisa Marie could run into another travel issue come August 16, when Presley will once again want to take the girls out of state to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the King of Rock and Roll’s death.
Should Lisa Marie Presley be unable to bring Harper and Finely to Memphis in August, it is for sure Elvis Presley fans world-wide will be sorely disappointed once again. It is a sad situation for Lisa Marie and her daughters, the custody battle alone will surely be taxing enough on the family, but to miss yet another special Presley family moment is devastating.
Hopefully, all will work out in a timely manner for Lisa Marie Presley and her daughters well before Elvis Week kicks off on August 8, 2020.
